SAN FRANCISCO—Jonny Ransom, formerly one of the stable of directors at Treasure Island Media, has founded his own studio. Ransom Video immediately signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Pete’s Distribution.
“There is just no denying the success Pete has had with my former comrades in porn, Stevan Maverick of Red Stag Video and Frank Stein of Slut Machine,” Ransom said. “After they paved the road, it was a logical move to follow suit with my own line.”
Ransom said the bareback videos he intends to produce will focus on the heat between the models.
“I want models that can look each other in the eye while fucking,” he said. “You won’t see any gay-for-pay, limp-dicked straight guys in my porn, but rather some hot, nasty, fucking cum whores. You will also see more new faces. I’ve popped more porn cherries than anyone else in gay porn.”
Ransom Video’s first DVD, as yet untitled, is expected to debut in September. The director said he plans to release six videos a year.
“I’ve gone on my own because I have a lot to offer the porn consumer,” Ransom said. “I get to make all the choices from casting to edits. I literally get to cherry pick the hottest models and best performers I’ve worked with, and the results so far are scorching.”
