SAN FRANCISCO—NakedSword has big plans for this weekend’s annual Up Your Alley Fair. The video-on-demand company intends to liven things up beginning July 24 with sponsored events, a booth overflowing with gay performers and the introduction of the Steve Cruz Condom, designed by illustrator Glen Hanson and produced by NakedSword in conjunction with How I Roll.
Two brand-new events kick things off on Friday: the grand re-opening of Boy Bar at The Café and the debut of a Friday-night special edition of Tattoo at The Stud Bar. The event at The Café will celebrate the completion of months of renovations. Dominic Pacifico and Christian Owen will host the porn-star-studded Tattoo.
On Saturday, studs will invade the Bay of Pigs for a special Dore Alley weekend bash. Following the festival the next day, NakedSword will usher the sloppy weekend to a close with the prison-themed Play T-Dance at DNA Lounge.
For the main event, the notorious Up Your Alley Fair on Sunday in Dore Alley between Folsom and Howard streets, the NakedSword booth will be swarming with porn stars, all on hand to chat with fans, sign headshots and give away the Steve Cruz Condom. Throughout the festival, porn star couple Cruz and Bruno Bond will hold court with friends like Mustang exclusive Samuel Colt, Tony Aziz and newcomer Alesso Romero, as well as GAYVN Award winner Scott Tanner. Sister Roma and NakedSword Chief Executive Officer Tim Valetni also will appear at the booth for a taping of “The Tim & Roma Show,” which NakedSword bills as “the longest-running gay talk show on the web.”
