NEW YORK—Lucas Entertainment has begun shipping its newest DVD, Men of Israel. Filmed on location in Israel, the video is the first gay adult release to feature an all-Israeli, all-Jewish cast.
Men of Israel has attracted coverage from both adult and mainstream media in the United States and abroad. Most recently, the Los Angeles Times wondered whether any of the movie’s cast members would become “the next box-office stud.” Tablet Magazine noted, “Lucas’s Israel is a tourist destination, a place where lovely beaches beckon and muscle-bound men have sex with each other.” Other press mentions include Out magazine, The Atlantic and the New York Press. In addition, the title was profiled in Yedioth Ahronoth, the mostly widely distributed newspaper in Israel.
“I am very proud of Men of Israel,” said executive producer and co-director Michael Lucas, currently on location in Paris shooting Paris Playboys. “It was my lifelong dream to film in Israel, a country that is very meaningful to me. The crew worked extremely hard to showcase the beauty of the nation and its men, and the shoot was an uplifting experience for all. We are very happy with the result, and I hope that everyone enjoys this release.”
The two-disc release offers five hardcore scenes featuring new Lucas Entertainment exclusive Matan Shalev, Jonathan Agassi, Avi Dar, Naor Tal, Guy Ronen, Morr Foxx and Ninrod Gonen. The package contains bonus material including a making-of documentary, outtakes, trailers and solo performances by Shalev and Dar.
