LAS VEGAS—Lee Watson has been named president of Hot Desert Knights Inc. Watson replaces founder Bill Gardner, who said he is stepping down after 20 years so the company can continue to grow under new leadership.
“I’ve had a ball with HDK and its subsidiaries [including HDK Distribution and GayAdultPhotos.com],” said Gardner, who launched the company in 1989. “I have had a great time and made some wonderful friends in the industry. It’s a great business/industry and one that I'm proud to have been associated with, but it’s time to step down and turn over the leadership to Lee so he can continue to build on what we have created. I can’t think of a more highly qualified person and loyal friend than Lee to lead HDK into the future.”
Watson has been with HDK for more than 10 years. He was named vice president in 2004 and served in that capacity until his promotion to president.
