AMSTERDAM—European video-on-demand site Homoactive.TV has added Lucas Entertainment’s entire catalog to its online theater.
“Homoactive.TV is currently the only European-based VOD platform with rights to Lucas Entertainment’s full catalogue, which we shall gradually release over the coming months across our popular pay-per-minute network,” explained Product Manager Jason Rose. “We are delighted to have this leading, high-quality label on board, which represents an excellent addition to the existing portfolio. Whilst other streaming sites have only been allowed to show selected movies, Homoactive.TV will launch the complete Lucas Entertainment catalogue, including top movies such as The Intern, Gigolo and La Dolce Vita.”
The Lucas contract is only part of an overall strategy just beginning to come into its own, Rose said. Now that the company has conquered Europe, it has set its sights on the U.S. market.
“Having firmly established ourselves in Europe, boasting content from all the top European gay porn studios, Homoactive.TV is now proving increasingly popular with the U.S. market, as well,” he noted. “In our experience, customers like watching local content.
