PHILADELPHIA—GayMovies.com, the gay subsidiary of HotMovies.com, has entered into a licensing agreement that allows the video-on-demand network to offer titles produced by RVD Films. RVD is the year-old studio founded by performer-cum-director Robert Van Damme.
Van Damme entered the adult industry as a sought-after performer in 2004. Under the RVD Films banner, he produces, directs and stars in his own films including the popular Private Party line. Memorable locations, non-stop action and hot men like Matthew Rush and Arpad Miklos are the studio’s hallmarks.
“I’ve been obsessed with Robert Van Damme since I was a young cub,” GayMovies.com’s Chops McGruff said. “I’m really excited to be able to offer his line to our users. For everyone who has been waiting to see this muscle stud bottom, let me just say it was definitely worth the wait.”
During its first year in operation, Van Damme’s studio racked up a number of nominations and awards.
“Our first year of production was very gratifying,” he said. “Four of the six titles we produced made it into Butch Harris’s ManNet.com 13th Annual Best 100 Videos of the Year list. And then XXFactor.com came out with their 2009 Awards. I was picked as runner-up for Performer of the Year, and the scene in which I bottomed for the first and last time, with the incredible Tyler Saint, was among the Ten Most Memorable Sex Scenes [on XXFactor’s list]. After such an incredible year, we’re really excited to offer RVD Films to a new audience at GayMovies.com.”
The first movie, Private Party—starring Van Damme, Antonio Milan, Coby Mitchell, Kevin Cavalli and muscle daddy Aron Ridge—is available now at GayMovies.com. The network promised more RVD titles will follow soon.
