NEW YORK, NY — Two weeks ago, director Jake Jaxson released part one of A Thing of Beauty on CockyBoys.com and showed gay porn fans how hot — and beautiful — a CockyBoy's film could be. Today, he releases the second episode from the series, titled “A Life Worth Living.”
Shot cliffside in Mexico and based on Keat's romantic poem "Endymion," the scene features Gabriel Clark and JD Phoenix in a coupling that draws on Jaxson's own life. He calls the film an "eroti-doc," an exploration of his desire and beauty, and a tribute to his 'throuple' relationship with cinematographer RJ Sebastian and Creative Director Benny Morecock.
"This part of A Thing of Beauty is a celebration of living — a life worth living," says Jaxson. "Nothing is stopping us from being who we want to be, loving who we want to love, and doing what we want to do… When you watch this film, try and connect to the most joyful parts of your past. Connect to all the things you wanted and still want, and make them your reality now!"
With award-winning films like Project GoGoBoy (Best Movie, Grabby Awards and TLA Video Awards) and RoadStrip (playing at Philadelphia's prestigious QFest later this month), Jaxson has quickly become a respected director in the industry.
