CockyBoys Taps New Marketing-Management Team

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.—Web-based gay adult studio CockyBoys has tapped three industry professionals to lead the company’s strategic marketing and brand-management efforts. In addition, the studio has formed an alliance with an East Coast firm to oversee online business development strategies.

New York-based Kink Ink will manage CockyBoys’ Big Bling affiliate program and supervise the studio’s online relationships. Kink Ink recently re-launched the gay e-tail site StudMall.com. In addition, the firm publishes more than 30 gay blogs, including StudMuffinBlog.com, INeedGayPorn.com and BennyMoreCock.com.

Benny MoreCock, Kink Ink’s creative director, will manage CockyBoys’ creative design team. MoreCock already has worked with the studio to revamp its homepage, splash page, join page and portions of the members area.

“It really has been a dream being asked to join the CockyBoys team,” said MoreCock. “Beyond CockyBoys.com, we are currently working on launching a few more niche-specific pay sites, a [video-on-demand] platform and a live-performance site.”

MoreCock said he expects the new sites to launch before the end of 2010.

The studio tapped Miss Jody, formerly an affiliate-relations representative for BelAmiCash, to manage affiliate relations for CockyBoys.com and its BigBling.com affiliate network.

“We are thrilled to have Miss Jody on board,” said CockyBoys owner Kyle Majors. “Jody grew BelAmiCash into what is now one of the top affiliate networks in the business. We are looking to her employing the same strategy for success to the CockyBoys brand.”

Miss Jody said she has a simple plan to achieve Majors’ objectives.

“Goal No. 1: Make our affilates money and continue to build global awareness,” she said. “We’re adding new ad tools from banners to video files to photosets. The site changes as well as the fresh promotional tools are our first step in helping our affiliates make more money.”

Bicoastal Davyd Dixon Entertainment will continue to handle global brand management, strategic partnerships, public relations and advertising for CockyBoys.

“There is no doubt that after three years in the business, CockyBoys is positioned to see continued growth well into the next three years,” Dixon said. “With this new team in place, we are confident our partners will have the client support they need and will see their conversions reach new highs.”

Majors, a mainstream Hollywood producer, acquired CockyBoys.com in 2007 as a hobby. Since then, the web-based studio has expanded and developed a reputation for discovering and developing new talent. The studio launched a signature line of DVDs in December 2009.
