CockyBoys' Smash 'RoadStrip' Gets Deluxe DVD Treatment

NEW YORK, NY — CockyBoys has released feature video RoadStrip on DVD.

CockyBoys' RoadStrip picks up where the award-winning Project GoGoBoy left off, with CockyBoys' stars Max Ryder and Jake Bass front and center. Like Project GoGoBoy, RoadStrip is blurring the lines between adult entertainment and mainstream filmmaking.

TLA's Erik Schut says RoadStrip "heralds an entirely new genre in gay filmmaking."

After being a hit online at CockyBoys.com, the movie had its full length premiere at the 2013 Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

The RoadStrip three-disc Blu-ray/DVD deluxe collector's edition includes the complete and unedited release, as well as the complete and unedited film Project GoGoBoy, a behind the scenes mini-doc with Jake Bass, a Max Ryder MTV-style Cribs episode, six deleted never released scenes, bloopers and outtakes, trailers, an eight-page full-color collector's booklet featuring essays, detailed scene synopses, and photos exclusive to the TLAGAY.

RoadStrip follows CockyBoys Max Ryder and Jake Bass as they travel across the US from New York to Los Angeles in an RV. Viewers watch what happens on this epic road trip across the country with two of the biggest stars in gay adult entertainment.

CockyBoys owner and director Jake Jaxson says, "I'm super excited to present this epic RoadStrip DVD! Looking back on it now, I can truly say it was a defining moment for all of us involved in the production.  As the title, RoadStrip, suggests, this journey was ‘an unveiling’ Not just of bare skin and booties, but also of ourselves; stripping away our porn personas to allow a more revealing look at who we are.  Along the way, we made memories that I will not soon forget."

He goes on to say about the film's stars, "Max Ryder bravely introduced the viewer to George (his real name), the boy behind the porn star. Max pulled back the curtain and eloquently detailed the differences between Max and George, and gave us a rare glimpse of a highly personal conversation, something rarely seen in gay adult entertainment."

"Jake Bass, an amazing performer and very self-aware, allowed the cameras to roll during both the good and the bad. When a very real and antagonizing argument erupts between him and Max, Jake's ability to analyze and address his shortcomings left many views wondering ‘is this porn?’"

"And who could forget the introduction of Levi Karter? I proclaimed at the time, ‘Watch out for him... he's going to be big,’ and I was right. Levi has swept the industry by storm, recently winning the highly competitive Cybersocket Web Award for Best New Porn Star. We can now all say, "Remember when!"

As for Jaxson himself, he says he's not been the same since making the movie. He explains, "Working with these talented, brave — and yes, crazy — performers has unlocked a creative spirit that had been asleep inside me. And today I write this as an out and proud gay adult filmmaker and I have no plans of stopping any time soon."
