‘Cocktails with the Stars’ to Celebrate First Anniversary

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—“Cocktails with the Stars,” a weekly gathering of industry insiders at Micky’s Bar in West Hollywood, will celebrate its first anniversary April 29 with a blow-out bash including awards presentations, giveaways and up-close-and-personal encounters with gay adult performers.

The party, scheduled to run from 6-10 p.m., also will celebrate the first anniversary of Micky’s reopening almost two years after a disastrous fire destroyed the club.

Host Scott “Scotty B” Boardman, gay adult performer Rob Romoni and West Hollywood socialite Joe Kegan will oversee the event.

“The show will be filled with a little old and a little new,” said Boardman, who described the night as part awards show, part industry mixer and part fan frenzy. “’Cocktails’ will be moved downstairs for this occasion and right on the street of Santa Monica Blvd., as it was years ago. We will also be giving out awards—and we know you’re curious who is going to take home the Lindsay Lohan Award, right?”

Boardman said the special event will be filmed and posted at NickYoungXXX.com for the benefit of those who are unable to attend in person.
