SAN FRANCISCO—Friday night at The Castro Theater in San Francisco, the 2010 GayVN Awards honored Channel 1 Releasing and studio owner Chi Chi LaRue with six coveted trophies, including Best Solo for Adam Killian for Taken To The Lowest Level, Best Group Sex Scene to the cast of Black Balled 7: Jail Slammed, Best Renting Title of the Year for Steven Daigle: XXXPosed, Best Live Web Show to LiveandRaw.com, Best Affiliate Program to C1R.com and Best Web-Based Marketing & Promotion.
In addition to the six awards won by Channel 1 Releasing, the studio's exclusive Brent Everett was also one of the evening's most celebrated performers, taking home Best Porn Star Web Site for his own BrentEverett.com and Overall Fan Favorite as voted on by the fans!
In one of the most touching moments of the evening, Chi Chi LaRue presented the year's Trailblaizer Award for the first time in history to a woman, her dear friend Sharon Kane, for being a pioneer of bisexual movies as well as an activist and legend in adult entertainment.
The 2010 GayVN Awards were hosted by gay comedian Alec Mapa and were filmed for Showtime, set to air in the coming months.
