LOS ANGELES – Channel 1 Releasing has launched a special video-on-demand theater to promote the release of its latest title, Chi Chi LaRue’s Taken: To the Lowest Level. The studio views the theater as a key promotional element for both consumers and affiliates.
“The Taken VOD theater provides interactive material for consumers and sticky content for affiliates to send traffic and earn an unprecedented 50 percent VOD payout plus 35 percent on any additional tangibles purchase through the C1R.com Store,” a studio spokesman said.
The promotional site contains embeddable trailers, Director’s Cut and Expanded Edition info, cast interviews, photos, behind-the-scenes videos, promotional Web banners and desktop wallpaper along with the option to watch the movie on the spot or purchase the DVD.
Taken: To the Lowest Level is GAYVN Hall of Fame director LaRue’s dirtiest and nastiest leather/fetish film to date, according to C1R. In the film, Adam Killian drags Phillip Aubrey on a six-scene exploration of the dark side of sex. Aubrey begins his journey as an outsider, but quickly finds himself amidst the filth and kink of LaRue’s twisted, hypersexual imagination. During his journey, Aubrey encounters erotic asphyxiation, toys, flogging, hot wax, piss, cum eating, enemas and domination, all of which entice his inner sex pig.
C1R affiliates who utilize the Taken VOD theater will be locked in for a permanent 50-percent payout on all future VOD sales. For more information, contact C1R Affiliate Manager Jared Lewis via email or call (323) 337-9556.
