MISSION HILLS, Calif. - Jamie Hendrix has chosen Boulevard Distribution to serve as the marketing representative for his cop-themed hardcore gay adult title, Friendly Force. Boulevard will represent the DVD in North America and most of Europe, along with G&G Media's softcore feature, Curious.
G&G Media is owned by Hendrix.
Friendly Force garnered a 2009 GAYVN Awards nomination for Best Screenplay. In addition, star Chad Clovis was nominated as Best Actor. Boulevard founder Andy Goode said neither of the nominations surprised him.
"When was the last time you suspended disbelief while watching an adult film?" he asked. "I was so caught up in the macho police action that I almost failed to realize these are some smoking hot guys getting it on."
Goode called Curious "an erotic masterpiece." The film is nominated for a 2009 GAYVN Award in the Best Alternative Release category.
In addition to the softcore film, the Curious DVD includes a directorial interview, outtakes and bloopers. Goode said the bloopers not only are amusing, but also illustrate the challenges faced by actors and directors.
"The move to [Boulevard] is one I only regret not doing sooner," Hendrix said.
Inquiries about Friendly Force and Curious may be made by emailing Goode or calling (818) 892-4427. Boulevard Distribution's home on the Web is at BoulevardDistribution.com.
