PRAGUE — The majority of BelAmi's releases in 2013 were condom free, but that didn't stop them from banking a total of 14 Grabby award nominations from just two titles. Among the 14 nominations, BelAmi's outdoor adventure flick Out of Control featuring skydiving, snowboarding, fast cars, and plenty of phenomenal open air sex garnered several nominations for Best Movie, Best All Sex, and Best Videography, as well as performance nods. The studio's award-winning and acclaimed website sees nominations in the Best Video Company Site category, as well as Best Web Original Content.
In recent years, BelAmi has been producing both condom and condom free content, a move that limits the amount of titles from the studio that can be nominated, since the Grabbys currently only recognize content that is produced with condoms.
“After 20 years in the business and winning well over 100 awards from every award show that has come and gone, it's still special to get nominated,” says BelAmi founder GDuroy, who will be on hand in Chicago at this year’s ceremony along with an array of exclusive models. Of the nominations, he says, "Thank you to the Grabbys and the nomination committee for recognizing our work in 2013 whether it be our membership site or the limited condom movies we released last year."
He adds, "Despite the majority of our titles being condom free, I'm happy to hear we received 14 nominations from just two condom titles and our website. It never gets old to be recognized for the work we have been doing for the past 20 plus years."
GDuroy, along with BelAmi boys, will be on hand in Chicago to celebrate the adult industry's finest.
