Badpuppy's Dog Gone Media Raises Commissions

COCOA, Fla.—Spring cleaning at Badpuppy means good things for affiliates, because what the company is throwing out is extra money. Badpuppy’s gay adult affiliate program Dog Gone Media will pay 50-percent lifetime commissions on all new sign-ups sent to DogGoneVideo.com from March 1 through May 31.

According to Marketing and Advertising Manager Lisa Turner, the revshare rate is more than double the percentage commonly offered by video-on-demand websites. In fact, 50 percent is two and one-half times Dog Gone Media’s usual rate of 20 percent.

“We wanted to come up with a means to rally all current affiliates and give great reason for new affiliates to come on board, and what better way to do it then to offer them double or more of what most other VOD and pay-per-view programs currently pay out?” she said.

“To clarify, on the new customers referred during the promotion who make at least one purchase, we’ll not only be paying the affiliate the 50 percent on purchases made by that customer during the promotion, but we’ll continue to pay 50 percent on all future purchases made by the newly referred customer,” she added. “That customer is, as with any DogGoneVideo customer, yours for life, but you will be paid out at the promotional 50-percent commission on all of their VOD minute package purchases in the future.”

Affiliates may refer new customers via banners, links, custom theaters, thumbnail and movie galleries and other Dog Gone-provided widgets that update with the newest titles daily. The affiliate cookie expiration has been extended from 30 days to 90 days, so the first affiliate to send a potential customer during the promotion will get to claim that customer if he signs up at any time during the promotion.
