CHARLOTTE, NC—AEBN and PZP Productions have inked a video-on-demand deal giving the online VOD provider exclusive rights to stream PZP’s new title, Blond Virgin Twinks We’ve Seduced.
Directed by PZP founder Peter Z. Pan, Blond Virgin Twinks will appear at AEBN even before it is released on DVD. The new title continues PZP’s in-depth exploration of a niche in which the studio has found its greatest success: barely legal men. Previous twink titles from PZP include award-winning gay adult spoofs The Twink Whisperer and Oliver Twink.
“This is PZP’s first straight-to-VOD production, and the only VOD [provider] we’d consider is AEBN, due to their huge customer base and state-of-the-art technology,” Pan said. “This is an experiment for us, and if it does well, AEBN will be the exclusive VOD outlet for our new line of niche-fetish movies, Daddy Does Twinks, coming out next year.”
The deal is not the first exclusive arrangement between the two companies. AEBN and PZP first partnered in 2006, when the VOD giant snagged an exclusive debut of BeTwinked for its network of online theaters.
“We’re excited to have another title from PZP Productions available through our theaters,” AEBN’s Chris Baker said. “We have had a great relationship with the studio, which has let us offer some of their films exclusively to our customers.”
Pan noted the straight-to-VOD experiment should not be mistaken for a sign the studio is abandoning the brick-and-mortar market.
“We still have a great relationship with our retail distributer, Marina Pacific, and will continue to release our main line of movies through them,” he said. “We feel fortunate to be able to work both AEBN and Marina Pacific. We have the best of both worlds.”
