"We are all deeply sadden by the loss of one of, if not the, most important man in the adult film industry, Bill Margold. Bill's career spanned over 40 years, during which he went from actor to producer/director to finally historian.
"Many people from the industry were touched by Bill in one way or another. He was a person that was always there if you needed him and never once asked for anything in return.
"This Wednesday evening, XXX Porn Star Radio on the All Pleasure Network (where Margold was a weekly radio show host) will be honoring Bill Margold. There will be a memorial show starting at 6 p.m. EST. All of Bill's friends from the past will be there or call in to honor him. Charlie LaTour, Jerry Butler, Long Jean Silver, Ron Jeremy, Hyapatia Lee, Porsche Lynn and Laurie Holmes are just a few of the Golden Age stars that will come together to pay tribute to the legend Bill Margold.
