WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—The winners of the sixth annual Pornhub Awards were announced Thursday night in an intimate ceremony at the world famous Whisky a Go Go on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip.
The ceremony was hosted by famed L.A. deejay Riki Rachtman, with a special appearance by Uncut Gems star Julia Fox and an extended post-show performance by rapper Rick Ross.
Winners were determined in some categories by fan voting, while the rest were based upon data from the daily searches and views on Pornhub.com. All winners received cash prizes in addition to their trophies.
The company also made a charitable donation for the second consecutive year to SWOP Behind Bars, a grassroots social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of sex workers who are currently incarcerated or seeking re-entry into society.
In addition to the competitive prizes, Pornhub bestowed a Lifetime Achievement Award to the late Cecilia Gentili, a trans activist and former sex worker who passed away on February 6. Among Gentili's accomplishments were establishing Cecilia’s Occupational Inclusion Network (COIN), a free clinic for sex workers within the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center; co-founding DecrimNY, an organization which successfully repealed the "Walking while Trans law" in New York City, a policy that unfairly targeted trans and BIPOC sex workers; and winning the 2023 American Library Association’s Stonewall Book Award for nonfiction for her memoir Faltas.
Trans star and Pornhub brand ambassador Natassia Dreams accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award Thursday night on Gentili's behalf, and Pornhub head of community and brand Alexzandra Kekesi issued the following comments on the special accolade Friday morning: "In honoring Cecilia Gentili with the Lifetime Achievement Award, we celebrate her unwavering commitment to championing the rights of sex workers and marginalized communities. The award is an expression of our sincere gratitude for the profound and enduring impact that Cecilia's selfless dedication has had on our community. She leaves behind a legacy of empowerment and advocacy."
