Wicked’s ‘Risky Business’ Parody Starts Filming Tomorrow

LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures will begin filming an adult parody of the 1983 coming-of-age comedy Risky Business this week.

Having successfully wrapped production on his triple-X musical, The Rocki Whore Picture Show, 2011 AVN Best Director-Feature winner Brad Armstrong starts filming his tribute to the movie that made stars of both Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay.

As he looks forward to the shoot, the award-winning filmmaker reveals that he couldn't be happier with the cast he's brought together for the new production.

"The movie will feature Kirsten Price in the role made famous by Rebecca De Mornay, while Kris Slater will be playing Tom Cruise's part, Joel Goodsen," Other cast members include Wicked Girl Alektra Blue, Asa Akira, Misty Stone, Amia Miley, Aubrey Addams and Randy Spears.

As to why he's chosen this classic comedy as the all-important follow up to his first parody, Armstrong's quick to point out that "Risky Business lends itself really well to the parody genre, I believe. After all, at its core, the story is about sex and the selling of sex."

And while Armstrong concedes the project is part of the parody trend, he sees his new rendition as more of a thematic sequel than a triple-X re-tread. "Our show will pick up the story where the first film ended, rather than merely mimic the events of the original. We'll be going to the next level, following Joel Goodsen as he goes to a university and an unexpected series of events leads him back into 'the business.'"

And what about the sex? At press time the movie included a climatic orgy featuring most of the show's cast.

Having already won 2011 AVN Awards for both Best Video Feature and Best Director-Feature, Armstrong looks forward to creating a new slant on the profession Cruise famously called the "human fulfillment business."
