Wicked Pictures To Release New Julia Ann Feature, Writer’s Block

AVN Hall Of Famer/Wicked Pictures contract performer Julia Ann stars in a new Jonathan Morgan-directed comedy, Writer’s Block.

The plot revolves around Ann and fellow writer Steven St. Croix finishing a book project and dealing with their mutual attraction. The cast is rounded out with fellow Wicked Girl Jessica Drake along with Devon Michaels, Kelly Kline, Alex Sanders and Eric Masterson.

Ann told AVN.com that the production was inspired by her love for the 1999 mainstream comedy Love Stinks that starred Bridgette Wilson and French Stewart.

“I think it’s one of the funniest movies. The plot of Writer’s Block isn’t all that similar to Love Stinks but the relationship that the lead characters have in both productions is similar. It’s just a fun comedy and I think that St. Croix and I have a great way of doing that bitter ‘I like you but I don’t like you’ thing,” Ann said with a chuckle.

Ann also performs a girl/girler here with Drake—one of only two they have done together other than their romp in Wicked Divas: Julia Ann.

“Jessica is so fun and nice. She’s got good energy and you actually know that she’s into girls which means you’re not sitting there thinking, ‘Does she hate me? Does she want me to go away?’ It’s nice to not feel that and it’s nice to know that she’s really into what she’s doing and that she’s honest about it,” Ann said.

Writer’s Block streets on March 9. The DVD release of the production is a special director’s cut with thirty additional minutes of sex not available in the VHS version.
