Wicked Pictures' contract players Jessica Drake, Kaylani Lei, Carmen Hart, Kirsten Price, Brad Armstrong and Randy Spears recently rubbed shoulders with some bona fide Hollywood legends at The Night of 100 Stars Academy Awards celebration held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Among the famous faces in attendance were Jon Voight, Martin Landau, Lou Diamond Phillips, Gary Busey, Richard Dreyfuss and many more.
The evening was a glitzy affair, and one that underscored the recent successes of the company during the so-called "awards season."
At the Empire Awards, Wicked received four wins: Best Compilation DVD, Best DVD Menus (for Michael Raven's The Visitors), Best Compilation Studio and Best Overall Studio.
However, the accolades didn't stop there. Wicked also received 11 nominations for the upcoming X-Rated Critics Organization Awards. Among the nominations were Armstrong's Curse Eternal and Raven's The Visitors for Best Feature, Armstrong's Manhunters receiving a nod for Best Epic, and Armstrong for Best Director.
Wicked's talent pool also received numerous nominations from the XRCO, including Jessica Drake and Kimberly Kane in the Best Single Performance – Actress for their respective roles in Manhunters and The Visitors. Stormy Daniels garnered a nomination as Mainstream Adult Favorite, a category she won last year. Veteran Randy Spears received two nominations, Male Performer of the Year and Best Single Performance – Actor for his work in Curse Eternal.
Rounding out the XRCO nominations for the Wicked were two nominations for Most Outrageous DVD Extras for Manhunters and The Visitors.
"It is very rewarding to see these nominations recognizing so many different aspects of Wicked's output as a studio. From acting and direction to innovations in DVD technology, every aspect of the company's continuing commitment to quality is represented," said DMPR publicist Daniel Metcalf.
