TAMPA, Fla.—The 28th Annual NightMoves Awards is getting an early start on voting, which began this past Saturday, August 15, and will run until Thursday, October 15. Voting is open to all adult industry professionals and fans of adult entertainment.
The NightMoves weekend, which usually features stars flying in from across the country to spend a long weekend in beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida, has not yet been canceled despite the COVID-19 pandemic that has shut down the majority of all awards shows and gatherings.
“The NightMoves Awards are the first awards show to have fans vote, the first to use internet voting, and we created many categories that are used industry-wide,” noted Paul Allen, owner of Nightmoves Magazine and creator of the awards. "We are not yet prepared to cancel our 'Star Caravans' or live show. If there is a way to get ahead of this virus, safely bring in a few stars and do a live show, we will do what we can to move forward."
What follows is the national list of nominees that are found in 17 different categories ranging from “Best New Starlet” to “Best Feature Production” to “Best Director.” NightMoves gives out two awards in numerous categories: a “Fan’s Choice” winner and an “Editor’s Choice” winner. Those interested may cast their vote by going to NightMoves.xxx. Winners will be announced on Sunday, November 8, 2020.

NightMoves Magazine started in 1988 and the first NightMoves Awards, which happened in 1993, is the third oldest and continuously running adult awards show in the United States, trailing only the AVN Awards and the “industry only” XRCO Awards. To be considered eligible, a movie had to have been released between June 16, 2019, and June 15, 2020. Individual awards are also based on this same time frame except for those in the “New Starlet” category, whose performances between January 1, 2019, and June 15, 2020 qualify.
Fans and industry people are able to log their votes for their favorite adult performers, directors, movies and all categories at NightMoves.xxx.
Local (Tampa Bay) people may vote for their favorite clubs, video stores, dancers, bartenders and DJ’s also at NightMoves.xxx.
