Vivid to Octomom: Your Worth Ain't What It Was

LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment head Steven Hirsch made his third offer in as many years yesterday to Nadya "Octomom" Suleman to appear in a hardcore movie for the studio ... except the amount on the table this time around is a mere fraction of what he originally dangled before her.

Hirch told TMZ.com that he sent Suleman a letter Tuesday offering her $100,000 to perform in three XXX scenes, down from the $500,000 he offered in 2010 for just one scene, and $1 million in 2009 for a single movie (with an unspecified number of scenes).

"Regrettably your market value has diminished," Hirsch said in his latest proposal.

This resurrected interest in Suleman on the part of Vivid came in response to a topless photo shoot she just did for British magazine Closer, which she told TMZ she agreed to because "the only flesh I'm touching is only myself, and I'm covered appropriately ... I was rationalizing that it's a woman's magazine, not a men's magazine, so in my head, my subjective opinion is that it's not hyper-sexualized, it's not exploitative."

While going on to claim in one breath that "I'm not ashamed of doing it" then admitting in the next that she did it "out of desperation" because her house is about to be auctioned off, Suleman insisted that taking the full plunge into hardcore is "not who I am."
