Vivid girl Devon was interviewed by Howard Stern last Friday on his radio show. Devon, who also strips, told Stern she began her porn career about six months ago.
Stern: You have some butt. You got the greatest ass I ever saw on a girl. I'm not kidding. You're really good-looking. When you show up at a strip club you must be the number one girl. You must be one of the hottest chicks in the strip club I would think."
Devon told Stern she did her first movie with Janine [a lesbian scene] and also had a scene with Raylene. "She's like in love with Janine," Stern commented aside. "Did you wind up having sex with Janine outside of the movie set? [Apparently not.] You kept it professional. Did you have an orgasm during those scenes? For real? So you enjoy the sex in a porno?"
"Definitely. I do, yeah," Devon said. Devon says she's done eight scenes so far, some with guys. "How's the sex with the guys?" Stern asked. "Some of the guys in porno movies are kinda gross."
Devon: "Yeah, I know. Tell me about it. Definitely."
Stern: "Is that a turn off?"
Devon said, not really, that she gets to pick the guys, ones that she's attracted to. "There's something appealing about them," she says of her partners. Devon told Stern she's worked with the same two guys "a bunch of times," that she picked them from pictures. "When I got into this business, I didn't know who anybody was," she said. Stern asked her about condoms, whether the guys wore them.
"Oh, yeah. Definitely. It's all condoms," said Devon. "It's all DNA-tested. It's totally safe." Devon told Stern she'd pick him as a sex partner. "The right answer; we get to talk some more," said Stern. "How do you wind up being a porno star? You're 21 years old." Devon said she and the guy she was messing around with, at the time, wanted to see themselves having sex on camera. "We were bored. His friend taped us, and we had the tape forever. He just sent it to Vivid." Devon said she didn't know about it, and the boyfriend is ancient history.
Devon's parents don't know about her career. "They're not deeply religious," she remarked, "But they're totally straight-laced. Nobody in my family reads Penthouse and nobody's watching pornos." According to her, Devon's mother died and her father re-married. Her parents think that she's a "go-go dancer - like topless." She said the topless aspect was alright by her mother. Her father doesn't know that she dances. Devon left home at the age of 16.
Devon's brother, apparently, was the one to discover that she was porno star. "He saw me in a club and a magazine," Devon said. "He's pretty cool, though." Stern asked about the repercussions, whether Devon would be in trouble if her father finds out about her porn career. "I don't care," she said flatly. "Me and my dad aren't, like, real tight." Devon sees her family during the holidays and dresses down for the occasion.
Stern: "How big were your breasts, originally, a B? Now they're what, a D? They look good. What else did you have done? A nose job or something? That's your real nose? That's pretty perfect. Damn. I applaud noses. It looks like a nose job. That's like what you pay for. It's a perfect little nose." Stern informed the audience that Devon was the object of a candid camera-style prank when Travis, "the farting guy", started blasting gas at her while she was sitting in the green room ready to go on the show.
Stern: "Travis is such a great farter. He did it to [boxing promoter] Don King as well."
Stern also brought up a story how Devon, at 17, was thrown in jail for a marijuana rap. "I got pulled over. I had it on me," Devon related. "There was a woman cop. I had it down my bra. When we pulled over, I shoved it down my bra. When she [the cop] pat me down, it crinkled." She was thrown in her jail and says her father wouldn't come for her. "He made me stay overnight in a holding cell to, like, punish me," she remembers. Devon started crying and began bothering the other inmates. She was told if she didn't stop, officials would take her clothes away.
Stern: "How sexy is that. Who took away your clothes - guys?" Devon said it was women and Stern wanted to know if the female guards were lesbos. "I'm sure," Devon said.
Stern: "And they said, 'Hey, if you don't stop crying we're going to take all your clothes off.' Whoa. And you couldn't stop crying. So how did they take your clothes off? How hot is that? I'm getting excited. Is that a hot scene or what."
Devon: "They [the guards] totally grabbed me and stripped me. I was screaming and yelling and they stripped me." Obviously, Stern wanted to know, but Devon assured him the guards didn't try grabbing her ass or copping a feel.
Stern: "So you were in jail over night, nude. Were the guards looking at you nude, all night? A male guard came in and saw you nude? A male guard gets to look at you nude?"
Devon: "He stared. He probably wasn't supposed to. Let wouldn't let me make a phone call."
Stern: "They should have arrested you for public indecency. They take away your clothes and made you lay their all night. And you never got in trouble for that? Did you have to pay money?"
Devon said she got a fine for the bust, that there wasn't much else they could do because she was underage. "At what age did you start having sex?" Stern asked. "Fifteen," she said. "It's not that young. I had a boyfriend at the time. He was a senior in high school." Devon said she also had an affair with a college professor.
Devon: "At Lehigh University. I didn't go to college, but where I lived, Lehigh was right there, five minutes away. I just went to the parties and stuff. I was underage. I was bad."
