Vivid-Alt Release Party Rocks Downtown L.A.

LOS ANGELES - Vivid-Alt celebrated the release of Dana DeArmond's Role Modeling with a special premiere party on Friday at the 6th St. Warehouse in downtown Los Angeles.

Co-hosted by DeArmond and Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai, the event included a holiday canned food drive to benefit the Downtown Women's Center. Sons and Lovers, Crystal Antlers and Restaurant all played live rock sets in a half-pipe set up in the middle of the spacious warehouse.

"It's amazing how the whole Vivid-Alt thing keeps picking up momentum...everything from sales to attendance and are events have grown," McKai told AVN. "This last party was almost shut down by the fire department. I think the fact that they all got a copies of Role Modeling and their picture taken with Dana DeArmond helped the situation."

Industry folks that came out to rock included Tory Lane, Ashley Blue, Alex Gonz and Daniel; directors Van Styles, Vena Virago and Dave Naz; and Vivid sales manager David Peskin.

Guests posed with DeArmond on her Role Modeling set and brought their own t-shirts for a screen-printing of an original design by graphic designer and Vivid-Alt art director Alaska.

All canned food was donated to the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, which provides support to low-income and homeless women. Further information can be found at dwcweb.org.
