CYBERSPACE—In his 20 years in XXX, Dick Chibbles has received his share of award nominations and even won a couple—and now, he's released the saga of his experiences in front of and behind the camera, Chibbles: Memoirs of a B-list Porn Star.
Chibbles' career has spanned decades performing in some of XXX's biggest parodies, including Star Wars XXX, This Ain’t The Wizard of Oz, and Rocky Horror Picture Show Hardcore Parody among others, plus a handful of award-winning feature movies like Wanted and Unbridled, as well as directing his own features like SAW: A Hardcore Parody, Blair Witch Project Hardcore Parody, and Adam and Eve’s Losers Never Get Laid. And then there was the notoriety surrounding his breakout zany role in Clown Porn, which Rolling Stone opined, “Clown porn: bad idea?”
Chibbles followed that up by co-directing the independent film Crackwood, a western starring Gilbert Gotfried and Lemmy Kilmeister (aka Motorhead),, not to mention a parody of his own movie, Clown Porn the Parody, that was not only an interactive party game but marketed as the worst adult film of all time—but somehow still landed almost a dozen award nominations.
Chibbles has always had a penchant for breaking the rules, and the book is a tell-all journey of his life story from growing up in New York to reinventing himself into a widely recognized actor/director in the adult industry. With more than 380 appearances on DVDs along countless internet scenes, he's also been the producer for multiple websites like TeamSkeet and his own multi-nominated features.
