NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—Metro Interactive has tapped well-established gonzo helmsman Van Styles to create titles for a new imprint dubbed Hipnotic.
"He blew us away with his intense new ideas and his future vision of gonzo," said Metro special projects manager Alexandra Taylor. "Van is expected to take the gonzo genre to another level and we wanted his energy and fresh ideas here with us at Metro."
Styles has directed extensively for major studios Hustler Video, Vouyer Media and others, and will inaugurate the Hipnotic line with Naughty Newbies, a pro-am endeavor that went into production this week.
Another project Styles has planned for the new label is Redneck Girls, showcasing "the hottest down and dirty, back-road southern girls."
"Gritty, raw and real sex mixed with new and fresh talent," Styles offered, "that's my outlook on making a great flick that all can enjoy."
