LOS ANGELES—The Urban X Awards announced Friday that its 2018 ceremony has been moved to a new, larger location: The Globe Theater in downtown L.A.
The event is still scheduled for August 19, with red carpet taking place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and the show commencing at 7 p.m.
The 2018 Urban X Awards will be hosted by Cindy Starfall, Richelle Ryan and Ricky Johnson, with red carpet hosted by Sara Jay and Farrah Foxx, and winner's circle hosted by Foxxy and Ana Foxxx. Handling live social media will be September Reign, Della Dane, Misty Stone and Dior Love.
Urban X organizers also announced today that Hankey's Toys has come on as a sponsor, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. For information, email [email protected].
Nominations are still open for the 2018 Urban X Awards. To qualify, a movie must have been produced between May 1, 2017 and June 14, 2018. Nominations will be accepted until June 29. To submit, click here.
