UK Gets Looks at Porn Star Killers in 'Snapped' Series

LOS ANGELES—A U.S. series called Snapped: Killer Couples that debuts in the United Kingdom today on the Crimes & Investigation Channel will feature a pair of porn star killers who were convicted in 2012 of the premeditated murder of a man in 2010. The episode on Amanda Logue and Jason Andrews first aired in the states in 2013 during the show's first season on the Oxygen network, as its very first killer couple.

According to the Mirror, "Snapped: Killer Couples looks at the gruesome murders where it turned out that a loved-up twosome were responsible for. In the first episode of the series, the show looks at the death of Dennis Abrahamsen who police believe met his demise so his killers could get a sexual kick.

"The 41-year-old was found face down on a massage table with multiple stab wounds and his head bludgeoned," it continued. "Behind the 2010 attack was adult-movie star Amanda Logue and her partner Jason Andrews."

Andrews is currently serving a life sentence after pleading guilty in order to avoid a possible death sentence, and Logue, who performed as Sunny Dae, "pleaded guilty to second-degree murder as part of a deal that will net her 40 years in a Florida prison," as AVN reported in 2012.

In the episode, according to the Mirror, Logue, speaking from a prison cell, said "killing was what got her boyfriend aroused. On the night of his death, Dennis had booked Logue to perform at a sex party but his body was found dead the next morning. Logue claimed she was innocent and instead pinpointed her partner as the culprit."

However, messages shared by the two before, during and after the crime indicated that Logue was an active and willing participant in the crime, the lurid details of which will be presented to the U.K. public tonight.
