Transfixed Debuts New Scene 'Human Interest'

MONTREAL—Jane Wilde is a journalist on a mission in “Human Interest," the newest release from Transfixed.

In the featurette, Wilde plays the writer of "Matches Made in Heaven," a monthly lifestyle column about couples sharing their unique stories of love and companionship. She's interviewing a cis woman (Aften Opal) and her partner, a trans woman (Zariah Aura), and is excited to give her readers a fresh perspective on a relationship they may be unfamiliar with. During the interview, Wilde finds herself drawn to the couple.

Of their scene, Aura enthused, “I am over the moon with the grouping for my Transfixed debut! This will be a first for my fans so I was nervous but I had so much fun. I love girls. It was an amazing day on set with the Monster Mouth team [director/producers Siouxsie Q and Michael Vegas], they made me so comfortable, can’t wait to work together again! Working with Jane Wilde was incredible, she’s such an icon, and Aften Opal was a complete sweetie. We all had the best chemistry. Thank you Adult Time!”

Added Siouxsie Q, “This project was another fun opportunity to weave some of my own experiences and history into the storytelling we do for Transfixed.com. Collaborating with the ever-talented Jane Wilde to create an authentic character that drew, in part, from my years as a freelance culture journalist and sex columnist for Rolling Stone and The San Francisco Weekly, respectively, was fulfilling in the most unexpected and delightful of ways!

“Aften and Zariah were also able to bring such sweetness to their roles, culminating in a lovely day on set as we all collaborated in the creation of a scene that uplifts and celebrates translesbian love and ethical non-monogamy—subjects I have always found myself returning to, regardless of the medium I’m working in. Happy Pride Season to all! I hope this scene feels like part of everything we are celebrating this month, and always.”
