TotemCash.com, known for its VirtuaGirl desktop stripper and screensaver, now is licensing content to companies developing or employing a mobile delivery strategy.
The company’s portfolio of mobile-ready content includes more than 300 models, 1,500 photos and more than 1,000 animations.
Licensees can choose from explicit and more conventional, non-nude content.
“It’s a profitable market,” says TotemCash owner Richard “Rex” Excoffier. “We started licensing our content for mobile, mostly in Europe, two years ago. This activity has generated over $500,000 in revenue for Totem in 2005, and the year isn’t even over yet. We’re certain we'll reach $600,000 by year’s end.
“Mobile delivery’s evolution matches Internet delivery’s evolution,” he continues. “Photos trump text, and motion pictures trump photos. You could say our animated GIFs put the motion in mobile.”
