LOS ANGELES—A Delta flight attendant who claims Tory Lane assaulted her on a flight last year has sued the performer, according to a report today by City News Service.
Jill Buice—who lives in Georgia but filed the suit Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court—claims she suffered cuts, bruises, an injured jaw and psychological trauma after Lane allegedly assaulted her during Delta Flight 17 on Feb. 18, 2015, from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
It was unclear what monetary damages Buice is seeking for what the suit claims was assault, battery, negligence and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Buice claims in the suit she has missed several days of work and still feels pain when she chews food.
According to AVN.com archives, Lane was on the flight, reportedly intoxicated, and became belligerent toward the crew. She was eventually restrained, and once the plane landed police and FBI officials at Los Angeles International Airport were on the scene and removed Lane from the plane. Reports said she was kicking and screaming, and reportedly assaulted an officer during the incident.
It was also reported at the time that Lane had to be transported from the plane strapped to a gurney and taken away to a local hospital before she was eventually taken into police custody and on suspicion of battery on a police officer and being drunk in public.
When contacted by AVN, Lane said the issue was settled out of court and had no further comment on the matter.
