AVN Online: How long have you been in L.A.?
Felicia Fox: A month-and-a-half. [This interview was conducted in early May - Ed. ]
AO: And you're originally from where?
FF: Dayton, Ohio. I'm actually from Enon, Ohio... population 600.
AO: Dazzle us with a little exclusive information on Enon.
FF: When I grew up there, there was one stoplight in the whole place. It's a good place to be raised. It's safe, you can ride your bike anywhere, leave your doors unlocked, leave your keys in the ignition... everything's fine. Oh, and they just built their first McDonalds. But when I hit 18, I had to break away and I moved to Dayton.
AO: Is that when you decided to pursue a career in adult entertainment?
FF: Yes. I started dancing and I started going to school, and I went and took an all-girl revue on the road. I've always been an exhibitionist, so I was kind of drawn into this from a very young age.
AO: I read you were a member of Future Farmers of America. Can you explain crop rotation?
FF: Crop rotation is when the soil gets stagnant so you constantly have to swap your crops around to create new earth. You have to constantly turn everything.
AO: Ever driven one of them big tractors?
FF: Yes, yes I have. I actually used to work at the airport and I drove one of those big forklifts. I am a complete tomboy, with a very feminine side.
AO: You were in the film Cum Dumpsters. What was the story about?

FF: Larry Flynt is one of my big inspirations in the business. He really fought for freedom of speech. Almost lost his life for it. And... mainly work hard, don't do anything you don't want to do, stick to your guns. The world inspires me. I love life. Even when times get rough there's so much that can be worse.
AO: Do you have a dream you'd like to fulfill?
FF: I have a total love of photography, so I wouldn't mind getting behind the camera. I'd like to stay in the adult business, maybe open up my own lingerie store, start my own line of videos, and then have my little farm where I can sit back and relax and have my animals, and I don't know... maybe a have a kid later. I'm not in any rush yet. I have a love for the adult business, it's been very good to me.
AO: What are the roots of this passion for the business?
FF: When I was a kid I used to watch movies like Flashdance and Fame... and that scene in Flashdance where she pulls the string in the strip club and the water just falls all over her, it was great. I was always dancing around the house, always skinny-dipping naked. I've always been comfortable with nudity. I've been dancing for ten years now and I've never gotten sick of it. If I could sing or play an instrument I would be on the stage.
AO: What's the secret to shooting a great sex scene?
FF: Having chemistry with the people you work with. I tend to have a list of guys that I try to have directors throw in. Sometimes I wish they would let you go a little bit. Sometimes they change it up so much, and I'm like, "Wait, things are starting to get hot."
AO: How long has FeliciaFox.com been around?
FF: Since 98'. It's gone through lots of changes, and I'm just now getting ready to take it over myself. I'm going to revamp it and do everything on my own.
AO: Tell us more about that.
FF: We're totally trying to learn Dreamweaver by ourselves, and I am going to start picking everything, every picture that goes on my site. Right now I chat on I.M. with fans, but I want to build a chatroom on the site and hook up a camera for live interviews. I might even keep a camera running all the time in my shower.
AO: What's your favorite part of the site?
FF: Probably my "100 Questions." You really get to know me. That's fun and personalized.
AO: Do you ever get wacky requests from fans at shows or via e-mail?
FF: All the time. I had a guy drink my urine in a club once. He gave me every last dollar in his pocket, and said, "Will you go pee in this cup?" And he had me spit in the cup before he drank it. I also smacked a guy in the face before because he wanted it.
AO: Let's talk about your other career as an adult Internet columnist. What's InsidetheLair.com all about?
FF: I post all kinds of stuff about my life and what I'm doing, my outlook on stuff.
AO: How about Sinsinnati.com and AdultDVDReview.com?
FF: Sinsinnati.com is from one of my very good friends that I used to work for. His name is Dallas. And he opened the site because Cincinnati is so conservative. He really stood up to them. I write about my travels in the business, like a journal. And AdultDVDReview.com, I write reviews and things about my life and travels and what I've been doing lately.
AO: You mentioned a new show on KSEXradio.com.
FF: We're talking either Tuesday or Friday, between the five and seven spot. It'll be me and Tim Case and we want to bring people on, really happy-go-lucky, nasty, funny people... just be yourself and have a great time.
AO: Any advice to aspiring adult stars?
FF: If you go in with stipulations, don't break them. Stick to your guns. It's out there forever. Make sure you want to do it. Don't do anything on film that you wouldn't do in your personal life. Just pace yourself.
AO: What non-sex Websites do you like to check out?
FF: Rotten.com, anything with animals. For a while, when that baby panda was born at the San Diego Zoo, I went to the site all the time and watched him grow.
AO: How do you relax?
FF: Usually sitting at my house. I like to putter. Putter around the house, relax at home and watch movies. I travel so much, so when I get time off I want to be at home with family and friends.
AO: Do you cook? What's your best dish?
FF: I can cook, but I don't that much. I love making chili and stuffed peppers. I like the healthier stuff.
AO: Three items you can't live without?
FF: My lip-gloss, my music, and my fianc�e.
AO: What really annoys you?
FF: Rude people.
AO: What makes you sad?
FF: Seeing animals or children get hurt. I am such an animal lover. Sad movies; I will ball, I'll have tears running down my face. I can't even watch Animal Planet, I will sit there and cry and cry. I have a dog, two cats, and two birds. I'm a huge animal lover.
AO: Describe yourself in one word.
FF: Happy.
AO: And because we always, always ask... please describe the underwear you have on.
FF: None. But when I do wear them it's like the boys' underwear that's out now. Those are the most comfortable.
