Tera Wray Quits Porn for 'Normal Life' with Wayne Static

LOS ANGELES - Pleasure Productions contract girl and 2008 AVN Best New Starlet nominee Tera Wray has ended her porn career after two years in the biz.

Wray married Static-X frontman Wayne Static in January during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. In a statement issued through attorney Michael Fattorosi, 21-year-old Wray said that after much soul-searching and deliberation, she decided to quit porn and pursue "a more normal life."

Originally from Kentucky, 21-year-old Wray was a Hooters girl before getting into porn. She signed with Pleasure and debuted in The Runaway Brat, immediately grabbing the industry's attention as one of the most promising young starlets. Wray did only 22 movies in all, memorably working with Matt Zane on his series Tattooed and Tight, Punkd Ur Ass and Radium.

"I have had a great time working with Pleasure Productions and especially Matt Zane," she said. "Without my fans, I would have never had the career that I have had. They have always been behind me and I will always remember meeting them at AVN.
