LAS VEGAS — From the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony to the final AVN Awards after-party, 2008 is the year of Tera Patrick at AEE.
The gorgeous porn superstar and her Teravision girls will officially open the expo at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9 in the front of Hall A at the
Sands Expo Center
in Las Vegas.
Joining Tera and husband/business partner Evan Seinfeld at the Teravision booth will be AVN Hall of Famer Teri Weigel, Charmane Star, Jayme Langford, Best New Starlet nominee Maya Hills and Female Performer of the Year contender Sasha Grey. Also on hand will be Dave Navarro, whose Teravision feature Broken is up for five AVN trophies, including Best Director - Non-Feature and Best High End All-Sex Release.
On Thursday night, Jan. 10, Tera will host her third annual Diva Las Vegas Party at TAO nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel, co-sponsored by ImLive.com and featuring music by DJFive and a 50-girl fashion show showcasing Tera's own Mistress Couture clothing line. The TAO party promises to rate among the most sensational events of AEE.
Other sponsors of the Diva Las Vegas Party include Teravision sister label Iron Cross, Forbidden Novelties and Rachel's Pleasures. In an effort to keep the female-to-male ratio in check, no "plus-ones" will be allowed through the door — every person attempting to enter must be on the guest list — and no men will be allowed in unaccompanied by at least one girl. On Friday, Jan. 11 Tera will take the stage at Forty Deuce in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to perform two shows with the Forty Deuce Burlesque Dancers. They all will be wrapped in Mistress Couture threads ... to start out with, anyway.
And then comes Tera's big night as co-host of the 25th Annual AVN Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. "This is it in our industry," Tera said. "It doesn't get any bigger than hosting the AVN Awards. I am going to do my best to make sure it is a show people will never forget."
Following the awards ceremony, Tera will host an after-party for industry and friends only at Seamless (4740 S. Arville Street, Las Vegas, NV 89103.)
"Tera's doing everything," said Seinfeld. "This is her year."
