Adult novelty manufacturer Topco Sales has announced the addition of industry veteran Lynn Swanson to its sales team. Swanson comes to Topco with more than 30 years of adult industry experience spanning retail, wholesale, and manufacturing.
"I originally got into the adult business as a college student who needed a job," explains Swanson. "I answered a blind ad for a bookstore clerk. Being an avid reader, [I thought] it sounded like the job for me. I took the job at one of Capitol News Agency's retail stores in Chicago and have been in the adult industry ever since."
Most recently, Swanson was the general manager of Goalie Entertainment's M&M Sales division, where she worked for the past 18 years. Additionally, Swanson brings to the table her expertise in the domestic marketplace, plus long-standing relationships with numerous distributors and retailers in the U.S. and abroad.
"I'm excited to join Scott Tucker, Terry McGowan, and their incredible sales team." Swanson continues. "My first trade show on behalf of Topco will be at the Lingerie Show in April in Las Vegas. I hope to help further Topco Sales' growing market share in the adult novelty industry."
Swanson also recently was voted to the board of directors for the Free Speech Coalition and has stated she is very proud to have been nominated and elected by her peers.
Swanson officially will begin her new career at Topco Sales on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
