Sunny Lane nabbed the Best Newcomer prize from the Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network VoD Awards.
The award goes to the favorite newcomer of the year based on statistical data compiled by AEBN using its extensive system of Video-on-Demand.
“Wow, are you serious?” remarked Lane, who is presently in Miami attending the Exxxotica show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. “That is so cool to be chosen like that. That just made my entire month.”
Lane appeared in a number of high-profile movies during the past year, including Darkside, Britney Rears 2, and Dark Angels 2: Bloodline, which also earned the coveted Best Feature Award from AEBN.
Winners are selected based on the number of minutes a particular movie has been watched, using a precise in-house accounting system. Lane was selected based on the viewing habits of millions of fans across the entire AEBN Network during the past year.
“The VoD awards honor the best videos as chosen by the fans,” says Scott Coffman, president of AEBN. “Going forward with another year of award presentation says a lot, not only about the growth of our company, but also about recognition of greatness in the adult industry.”
