Stormy Daniels Takes Off on Louisiana 'Listening Tour'

LOS ANGELES/NEW ORLEANS — Stormy Daniels, the world's hottest porn star in politics, has launched a "listening tour" to meet with prospective voters as she continues to explore running for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana.

Daniels' newest film, Operation Tropical Stormy, is due in four weeks from Wicked Pictures. It's the sequel to her award-winning Wicked Pictures comedy Operation Desert Stormy.

The listening tour is Daniels' latest collaboration with her supporters at DraftStormy.com, who are encouraging her to truly consider running for the U.S. Senate seat of David Vitter. The embattled Louisiana senator faces reelection in 2010 and is no stranger to controversy himself — Vitter became the center of a news hurricane in 2007 when he was implicated in connection with the investigation of infamous "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

Daniels appeared Wednesday on Politics With a Punch, a radio program from Slidell, Louisiana, with guests that included infamous Bill Clinton alleged mistress Gennifer Flowers, actor Ken Ferguson, WGNO-TV news anchor Liz Reyes, publisher Chad Rogers of TheDeadPelican.com, columnist Chris Rose and comedian Mike Strecker.

Today, Daniels will visit Barney's Police And Hunting Supplies at 218 Four Park Road in Lafayette (for driving directions, call 337-896-3667). She'll receive a tour of the facilities after speaking to the owner and guests.

The action moves to Shreveport tomorrow, where Daniels will spend the morning at the Southfield Grill, 317 Southfield Road (for more information, call 318-219-4148 or visit SouthfieldGrill.com).

Friday afternoon will find Daniels as the guest of honor at Roosters' 4th of July Music Fest, Rally, and Poker Run. The star-spangled celebration will start at 3 p.m., with the Wicked beauty addressing the massive crowds and introducing the bands between 4 and 5 p.m. The venue can be reached at (318) 878-8778 and is located at 100 Dearman Road in Dehli, La.
