Spearmint Rhino Hosts Charity Car Wash

TORRANCE, Calif. - Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Clubs will host its second annual charity car wash on Friday at the Spearmint Rhino club in Torrance to raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer.

Co-sponsored by Free FM as part of the station's "Ditch Work" promotion, the event will run from 3 - 6 p.m. during the popular Tom Leykis talk show. Spearmint Rhino dancers from several area clubs will soap patrons' vehicles while the club opens its doors to offer guests a full bar and entertainment.

Proceeds will benefit Savannah's Organic Ranch, a non-profit organization founded by the parents of a child who died of heart cancer in 2007 at the age of eight.

"We are so grateful that we have this event to help fight pediatric cancer," said Joe Sachen III, co-chair of Savannah's Organic Ranch. "Last year, we raised a lot of money and it looks like this year will be even better."

Last year's car wash was held in conjunction with the Adam Carolla Show on Free FM and raised more than $2,000 for Savannah's Organic Ranch.

The Spearmint Rhino in Torrance is located at 19900 Normandie Avenue, Torrance, CA 90502 and can be contacted at (310) 532-2427.
