HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult director Harry Sparks may not have a lengthy list of titles on his IAFD.com page, but with AVN Award-nominated movies such as Revenge of the Petites (ATKingdom, 2012) and Beauty and the Beast XXX (Exquisite, 2016), his work certainly made an impact. Through Sparks Entertainment, he is re-rereleasing an R-rated version of The Vampire Mistress as part of Horror Tales: Volume 1 in HD via Vimeo on Demand. The double-feature volume pairs Vampire Mistress with Rotkappchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood.
Horror Tales: Volume 1 features R-rated versions of both erotic horror films. The Vampire Mistress—which featured adult star Dani Daniels in the lead role—revolves around a young reporter who must choose between joining an evil vampire society or using her newfound power to bring them down. In the second story, Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood, a German teenage finds life difficult in her new school; focusing on a book of fairy tales, she discovers the power of imagination ... and werewolves.
Horror Tales: Volume 1 is available on Vimeo here. The double feature can be streamed one time for $3.99 or any time for $10.99. It has a running time of two hours and five minutes and can be streamed on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku and Chromecast. A free trailer can be found on the same page.
“I re-released these films as a double feature for erotic horror fans who might not have seen the adult or unrated versions—they’re more plot-driven and feature softcore sex,” Sparks said. “I hope to reach a new audience, who will fall in love with my films. It’s on Vimeo Demand, so it’s affordable and a great night in.”
