RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—What with all the discussion in the media about what an asshole Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is, fans of adult entertainment and Trump impeachment might be wondering what's been happening with the now-world-famous adult star Stormy Daniels? Well, wonder no longer: Stormy's got a couple of gigs coming up this weekend, and fans on both coasts will have a chance to see the star up close and personal.
The first takes place this Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6, with Stormy scheduled to wow the crowds at Gold Club Centerfolds in Rancho Cordova, where she’s set to take it all off during two shows, the first at 9 p.m. and the second at midnight—and according to club co-owner Mark Boyles, after each set, Stormy will be available for "meet-and-greets" with patrons, and she'll even pose for photographs. Don't try to interview her, however; that'll be off the table here.
According to an article in the Sacramento Bee, "Her performances are set to be perhaps the most popular the club has seen since opening in 1995."
"She’s generating a lot of interest and conversation. I think that’s positive and good," Boyles told the Bee. "She’s eight times more expensive than the standard porn star we have every week."
Boyles expects to sell at least 400 tickets each night—at $10 more than the club's usual cover charge of $30, but at least the $40 includes a soda. But Boyles warns that tickets are going fast, and might easily sell out.
"We’re looking forward to capacity crowds," he said.
Gold Club Centerfolds is located at 11363 Folsom Blvd., Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. More information may be had by phoning (916) 858-0444.
Then, a couple of days later, East Coasters will get their chance to see the star, when she attends a book signing for her just-released autobiography Full Disclosure at Manhattan's Museum of Sex, 233 Fifth Avenue, New York City. Stormy will have plenty of copies of her book for sale, and those who buy one at the Museum will be able to get it autographed by the blonde beauty herself. Not only that, but she'll be holding a "meet and greet" from 6 to 8 p.m., where fans will be able to talk to the star—but according to a report on TMZ.com, photos (or at least selfies) may be out of the question.
"Stormy Daniels is living in fear of Donald Trump supporters ... so much so, the ex-porn star [sic] is banning everyone from taking selfies with her at her book signing," TMZ reported regarding a recent signing gig at The Grove in Los Angeles. "Stormy's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tells TMZ ... she will have her normal security detail, and the selfie ban was put in place because of safety concerns."
But so what? Even without a photo op, who'd want to miss the woman whom MoSex's publicist notes was "referred to in the New York Times opinion pages as 'Stormy Daniels, Feminist Hero' and 'Joan of Arc,' and in Rolling Stone as 'the hero America needs'"? (True dat!)
"In Full Disclosure, she shares everything about how she came to be a leading actress and director in the adult film business, the full truth about her journey from a rough childhood in Louisiana onto the national stage, and the events that led to the nondisclosure agreement and the behind-the-scenes attempts to intimidate her," the publicist adds.
So why not catch Stormy at the Museum of Sex, 233 Fifth Avenue, NYC 10016 on Monday evening, October 8, 6-9 p.m.?
