Skin Diamond Makes Directorial Debut for Deviant

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—AVN Award winner and July Penthouse Pet of the Month Skin Diamond adds another feather to her ever more prestigious cap by becoming the latest top-tier performer to step behind the camera for Deviant Entertainment.

The 2014 AVN Female Performer of the Year nominee describes her maiden directorial voyage, Skin Diamond's Dollhouse, as a "creepy horror movie-like" production. Aside from herself, the cast of Dollhouse includes Aiden Starr, Annie Cruz, Lana Violet and Courtney Taylor.

Explaining the respective roles of each of her performers, Diamond told AVN, "Aiden Starr is my fetish doll! Courtney Taylor is my sex doll, and Lana Violet is my Lolita doll."

For her own scene, opposite 2015 AVN Awards co-host Tommy Pistol, Diamond said the proceedings involve a "slight medical fetish theme," adding, "I got these dresses from Japan that are going to look amazing!"

It was after Deviant head of production A. Slayer approached her about trying her hand at directing that the idea for Dollhouse was born, Diamond said. She recounted, "[Slayer] asked me if I wanted to direct a movie and after thinking about it a little, the doll theme sprang to mind and I agreed. This movie is very heavily inspired by the artist Trevor Brown, whose twisted depictions of dolls in distress have fascinated me for years."

Slayer has also recently handed directorial reins at Deviant to performers Maddy O'Reilly and Brandy Aniston. Of Diamond, he commented, "Besides being one of the most sought after girls of today, she is also very creative and has a strong desire to bring her dark vision to the camera. I'm confident Skin has what it takes to not only be in front of but behind the camera for many years to come. She is a perfect fit for Deviant and we are so pleased she came aboard."

No release date has yet been announced for Skin Diamond's Dollhouse.
