Simon Wolf Launches Kinky Sex at Rokbar

Leave it to Pure Play Media to figure out how to rock, party and brand a new porn line for industry leader, Simon Wolf Productions. On Thursday night, the hottest new spot in Hollywood, Rokbar, became an industry only gathering place where the Kinky Sex series launch was celebrated.

The girl to guy ratio was most acceptable and Pure Play honcho Richard Arnold brought his usual positive energy to the affair as director Robert Herrera hobnobbed with the hardcore contingent offering this insight into the experience: “I am really proud of the way the movie turned out. It is different from anything I’ve ever shot. The location was great, the lighting was exceptional, the talent did a fabulous job and the sex is hot. People who enjoy quality porn should make a point to check it out."

April Storm, publicist for Pure Play, and official hard rockin’ babe host for the evening, effused, “Combining fetish, bondage and hard sex, this release challenges the traditional definition of "couples" porn and brings fans the high production values and beautiful locations that they expect from Simon Wolf.”

Brad Thomas, of Intoxicate U Productions, will be hosting his own nights at this ultra-hip club partly owned by Tommy Lee, Dave Navarro and DJ Paul Oakenfeld, along with Josh Woodward, the owner of the so cool, it’s hot Melrose Avenue restaurant and watering hole, Table 8. But on this night he was only there for the party and to help his friends in the industry have a party. Thomas said, “I love helping April out. She’s so cool and gets all the industry people together at the drop of a hat. I’m putting together Thursday nights here at Rokbar with my partner Scott and it’s going to be great.”

Thomas was seen in deep discussion with the former director for the World Poker Tour and they are apparently in discussion about bringing porn together with poker very soon.

On hand to party were Kinky Sex stars Rita Faltoyano and her new hubby, porn star Tommy Gunn as well as co-stars Nikki Hilton and Mickey Ray. Porn star and musician Kurt Lockwood and his co-star and bandmate Samantha Ryan were excitedly talking about a new deal they had brewing regarding a reality rock 'n porn show around his band “Not the Ramones.”

“It’s talent night here, that’s for sure,” producer Roy Karch mused as Hollywood actor Michael Keaton cruised the room, “And I don’t mean him.” Karch laughed.

Other top stars of the moment included Shay Sights, Victoria Lane, Christian, Davia Ardell, Tricia Oaks, Trina Michaels, Tyla Wynn, Lori Alexia, Brandy Nicole, Brooke Haven and Will Powers as well as Bad Ass Models owner Frank and Jimmy Mofo, who made an unforgettable impression on the scene with his patented pose and amiable way that makes him one of the coolest people in the room, no matter what the vibe. Mofo, excited to be producing for DVSX, felt this was going to be a spot to hang, at least for a while. “This is chill. I’ll bring the Mofo girls here next time."

The next day, orders from local distributors kept the phones ringing at Pure Play and Herrera voiced his satisfaction, saying, "The party was fabulous. The club was really nice. We had the perfect sized crowd. It wasn't too crowded, you could move around freely and best of all, there were a lot of hot girls. Even for a porn party, we had a lot of hot girls! I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't able to make it."
