Before a venue-filling crowd of fans, friends and photographers at Hustler Hollywood on the Sunset Strip, porn legends Sharon Mitchell and Jeff Stryker pressed their hands into wet cement marking their induction into the Hustler Hollywood Porn Walk of Fame.

Hustler Magazine founder/owner Larry Flynt introduced both stars to the crowd. Citing the many achievements of their decades-long porn careers, Flynt paid special tribute to Sharon Mitchell who co-founded the AIM Healthcare Foundation in 1998 and is its Executive Director. As she washed the residue from her hands, Mitchell quipped, "This is like cleaning up after a Pap smear test at AIM."
In a thank-you speech, Sharon Mitchell, who has performed in, directed, or produced more than 600 XXX movies, acknowledged her debt to Larry Flynt for "taking a bullet for freedom of speech." It was the attempt on Flynt's life, she said, that gave her the inspiration and courage to fight obscenity charges leveled against her—three times—"and win!" Mitchell, who had earlier revealed that she had begun her porn career at 17, concluded by saying, "It's an honor to accept this award and an honor to have grown up naked in front of you."
In introducing Jeff Stryker, Flynt's first remark was, "I didn't recognize Jeff when I first came in because he had his clothes on." In his comments about Stryker, Flynt noted that the enduring superstar's fame extends well beyond his gay-porn fan base, that he has appeared in gay, straight and bisexual films, "and in Hustler twice."
Thanking Flynt for honoring him, Stryker said, "I'm just a guy from the Midwest who grew up beating off to Hustler—and I still do!"
Mitchell and Stryker additionally received star-shaped lucite trophies symbolizing their inductions. Their handprints and nameplates will join those of the 13 previously inducted honorees, Marilyn Chambers, Larry Flynt, Bill Margold, Seka, Jimmy Flynt, Al Goldstein, Gloria Leonard, Herschel Savage, Sunset Thomas, Ginger Lynn, Jenna Jameson, Harry Mohney, and Porsche Lynn.
