Shane’s World Studios threw a luau for members of the press to yesterday to introduce their newest title, Surfer Girls. The press junket was held from 3pm-6p.m. at the Woodland Hills Hilton and appearances were made by the stars of the movie: Teagan, Katie Gold, Nadia Styles and Fallon Sommers.
The luau theme set the tone of the event, while the guests mingled with the talent while sipping on tropical cocktails and inquiring about the specifics of the movie.
"I've never had more fun on any other shoot,” said Katie Gold. "I also made some great friends."
In addition, the women signed Surfer Girls posters for both the press and hotel staff.
"I think that the event was a success", company president Jennie Grant said. "We are excited about this movie and wanted to get the word out. Anytime you can bring hot girls and tropical cocktails together, people are going to have a great time".
Shot on the North Shore of Hawaii, Surfer Girls mixes the College Invasion style of crazy parties with the reality feel of Shane's World.
Surfer Girls hits the streets on DVD and VHS on May 17. The DVD is a two-disk set. The bonus disk features Behind the Scenes and Lost Footage as well as a bonus scene and other extras.
