Shane’s World Studios announced today that the company will be extending their directorial contract with Penny Flame. Flame has been directing exclusively for the company for a year and will now have her contract extended for an additional year. Flame has helmed such Shane’s World series as Girl’s Night Out and Penny Flame’s Blazed and Confused.
“Penny totally gets the Shane's World Studios vibe,” said Jennie Grant, owner of Shane’s World. “She shares our wacky sense of humor and she's always up for an adventure.
“She brings the professionalism of a director and the playfulness of a performer. Penny is very passionate about all of her projects and always gives 100 percent. She also always brings the zany, wild and carefree essence of herself to each and every movie”
Flame’s upcoming release Blazed and Confused 2: The Hunt for Maui Wowie will be released this September. The title is said to be a stoner adventure shot on location in Hawaii, including several scenes shot outdoors.
As for her upcoming release, Flame said, “It’s going to be hilarious…I was literally in tears of laughter twenty minutes into it. We went on the ultimate hunt for Maui Wowie, and wait until you see what we found.”
Flame went on to say she was happy that she got the opportunity to continue directing for Shane’s World Studios and is looking forward to expanding her lines.
"We look forward to Penny spreading her wings this year,” Grant added. “She's got a lot of ideas and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.”
Penny Flame’s Blazed and Confused 2 features Flame, Taryn Thomas, Emily Evermore, Amy Reid, Jack Venice, Sasha, and Erick Everhard.
Shane’s World’s roster also includes director Tim Von Swine and contract girl, Casey Parker.
