BERLIN, Germany—In spite of the current pandemic, German-based independent adult filmmakers have come together virtually (social distancing from their homes) to create a vignette adult film and fundraiser, Sex In Times Of Corona. Dubbed the "Corona Solidarity Film," the project was completed with a combined budget of less than €60 (US$66), and produced by 16 filmmakers with mini-teams of sheltering cohabitants creating short sections while following local COVID-19 preventative laws.
Viewers may receive a download of the film if they donate to BesD – Berufsverband erotische und sexuelle Dienstleistungen e.V.Emergency Fund. The group has raised more than €5,500 (US$6,015) and plan to continue honoring donations at least until the end of May.
Sex workers and adult businesses around the world are facing discrimination in government relief projects. Fortunately, our communities are as resourceful and creative as they are resilient against sexual persecution and censorship.
Sex In Times Of Corona is intended to sweeten adult fans' days in quarantine while filling the BesD – Berufsverband erotische und sexuelle Dienstleistungen e.V.Emergency Fund for sex workers. We provide the film; you provide the donation!
