SAN FRANCISCO—Kink.com is set to debut BDSM director The Pope’s sex horror epic Derelict this weekend.
The nearly two-hour narrative horror porn follows Charlotte Sartre and Casey Calvert as they are stalked and tormented in a dilapidated desert ghost town.
“Sex, power and fear are our most primal reactions,” said Mike Scott, head of content at Kink.com. “We wanted to bring the audience to a base state, one that breaks through our digital, self-aware, intellectual existence. Derelict is one of The Pope’s greatest accomplishments as a director. I look forward to hearing the reaction, in and out of the industry.”
Derelict debuts Friday, Aug. 30 on Kink.com.
“As always, we’re stunned by The Pope’s ability to mix the erotic with terror,” said Matt Slusarenko, vice president at Kink.com. “While we know that a film this psychologically intense isn’t for everyone, this is a singular achievement. We haven’t seen a film this disturbing since Deception—and truthfully, many of us are still recovering from that.”
Deception debuted on Kink.com in 2015, and quickly proved to be one of the most controversial films in the site’s history, with fans both drawn and repelled by the film’s graphic sex and horror. A screening of Deception in the old Kink.com Armory, became a legend among the staff — some were unable to stay for the entire film.
