LAS VEGAS, Nev.—Severe Sex Films' AVN Award-nominated BDSM feature MindFucked: A Cult Classic has been chosen as an official selection for the “Bring It” competition at CineKink NYC 2019.
"We’ve got a crackerjack line-up for our ‘Bring It’ adult cinema showdown this year," said Lisa Vandever, CineKink co-founder and director. "And Severe Sex Films’ MindFucked: A Cult Classic adds quite a twist to the mix. Dee and her co-director, Bella Bathory, are really stepping up to the competition with this offering."
"It’s so great to be back with a completely different kind of feature,” added Severe Sex Films co-owner and MindFucked co-director Dee Severe. "MindFucked was co-directed by pro Domme and sex worker activist Bella Bathory, and took quite a dark turn. It’s about cults and how easy it is for people to get caught up in their nefarious doings. And sex. Lots of kinky sex."
MindFucked garnered an AVN Award nomination for Best Drama and, most recently, an AltPorn Award nom for Best Feature. The excerpted scene screening at CineKink stars Tommy Pistol, Andi Rye, Lily Lane and Della Dane.
“Tommy was incredible,” noted co-director Bathory. “I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing Sage. I learned so much shooting this project with Severe Sex, it was perfect for my directorial debut.”
"I’m not sure if it’s a skill or that I’m just lucky," noted executive producer and Severe Sex Films co-owner Jimmy Broadway. "But once again we were able to assemble an amazing cast of top-notch performers who could handle the acting, the sex and who are genuinely kinky. Each and every one in this project brought their ‘A’ game and our equally talented crew was able to capture it all."
The festival will run April 3-7; “MindFucked” will screen on Saturday, April 6 as part of the "Bring It" program. 2019 marks the festival's 16th year; the festival will include a short film competition, audience choice awards, an adult industry showcase, presentations and parties.
