Seth Rogen Talks AVN Awards on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

HOLLYWOOD—Fresh off hosting Sunday night's 95th annual Academy Awards, comedian Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Zack and Miri Make a Porno star Seth Rogen onto his late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday for a rollicking discussion including a hilarious recounting by Rogen of his first experience attending an awards show ... which it turns out was the 2003 AVN Awards.

Explaining that he came to the show with director Judd Apatow as research for a never-produced script about a porn star, Rogen marveled at the raw emotion he witnessed from stars accepting their awards, the sheer breadth of award categories and the epic length of the show. (Yes, we'll admit it was ... protracted in those days, but it's tight and breezy now, we promise!)

"To their credit," Rogen riffed, "they give every ... it's like All-Girl Anal Scene, Boy/Girl Anal Scene, Outdoor Anal Scene, Indoor Anal Scene, Living Room Anal Scene, Swimming Pool Anal Scene. It's truly ... it's absolutely remarkable!

"And the other thing that left an impression on me," he added, "is the speeches were very emotional! Like genuinely emotional, for real! And then I also remember thinking, like, honestly they deserve it, no one is working harder for these awards!"

Well said, Seth Rogen.
